I enjoy children of all ages. I worked for a company in CT as a Residential Counselor for disabled adults, so I am well-versed in dealing with adults with difficulties in processing information and life skills. My one on one was afflicted with Williams Syndrome, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Hyperacuity, and she was med-seeking. But she was soooo soooo smart. I enjoyed creating outings and activities with her and comforting her at the doctor's office and grocery store. I made everything into a game and appealed to her competitiveness and her intrinsic motivation because she was so smart. I have an HR Certificate from Los Angeles Valley College. I moved to New Haven/North Haven 4 years ago and am very happy here.
