Hello! My name is Korinne. As a babysitter, I have spent many years watching and tutoring my younger sister from the age of 2 up until her current age of 14. I have also been a teaching assistant in a kindergarten for several months, and have spent many hours volunteering at local schools with middle-school aged children as an assistant teacher. Additionally, while earning my Master's degree this past year in Paris I worked as a nanny and tutor for multiple families with children ranging in age from 15 months to 14 years old. I assisted with homework in all subjects in both English and French, helped the children get to a from school and their after school activities, and of course entertained them whenever their was downtime to be spared. I love spending time with kids! To me, babysitting is more than merely watching children. It involves actively engaging Read more the kids in activities, helping them with homework or any problems they might be facing in their lives, and making sure that they are safe and happily enjoying the time spent with me. I'm more than willing to take the kids out to playgrounds, hang out at home with them, or chat about whatever is on their minds. I have both a BA and an MA in French Language and Literature, and am looking to continuing this path in order to acquire (eventually) my PhD in the same field.
