I began as a mothers helper when I was 11. I helped watch two younger kids that were 4 and 6. i brought them to tennis practice and to the pool that was down the street. As I got older I watched one family of two boys for a couple summers. Cooking dinner, putting them to bed. bringing them to friends houses, etc. During that time I also babysat for a couple other families (one with 4 boys, one with 2 girls). Last summer I spent a month helping out a family with a newborn (2 months old). This was a 12 hour a day job and consisted of me feeding the baby, changing his diaper, cleaning up the house as needed, as well as watching their dog.
