I have been working as a counselor at Camp Claire for the past three summers. Throughout my time working at camp, I have learned how to provide a fun and encouraging environment for children ages 6 to 14. This past summer I was given the title of Arts and Crafts Director, in addition to being a senior counselor. As A&C Director I was able to combine my love of art and expression with my love of children, teaching up to three classes a day that focused on pure personal creativity. Camp Claire has a motto which I also tend to practice: let kids be kids. I strive to provide both a safe and nurturing environment that allows children to be creative and free.
