-I am a semi-retired teacher and mom of twins (preemies@ 32wks-now 13yrs old ) -----I am going for my accelerated bach/masters in Psychology (online, 3years left to go) & get my PsyD in child psychology (another 3 yrs at least) -----I am also a very good cook (organic) very knowledgable about nutrition- alternative health (and making baby food). -----I charge 20$ an hour depending on size and needs of family (infants, twins etc) -----I have transportation -----I am a very loving, nurturing person who truly loves being with children-understands them and has great instinct for them- even pre-speech. -----We have a teacup maltese who thinks she's a guard dog and a cat who is sure she's a dog.....ie comfy w pets if you have any ! I had my twins , now 13, & stopped teaching and performing (except privately) so that I could homeschool them (Waldorf curriculum) from 2 yrs of preK thru the end of 3rd grade. my first proper nanny position 6am-6 pm m-f for a visiting Israeli Professor and his family (infant till15 months) --learned and have now forgotten Hebrew baby speak. I have a deep instinctive relationship with children in general & much to offer beyond the basic care of a good nanny- -----I speak Fluent Greek (as well as English, born in NYC NY) Teaching/ homework/ arts/ extras etc are free : ) ---(when applicable) piano lessons can be included for 50% discounted rate (when child(ren) is/are 4) I am certified CPR- Infant CPR- First aid - brain injury- I interned 6 months 2015 with Marrakech ( New Haven) working with adult survivors of childhood trauma.
