CPR and First Aid Certified 4 years with one family taking care of child since infancy. Helped with potty training, prepared healthy meals, played child appropriate games and activities. Read to children. Creative writing, arts and crafts, bathing children, grocery shopping for family.

I graduated from Villanova University in May 2018 with a degree in Nursing and Spanish Language & Literature. I previously worked in the hospital for 6 years full time night shift as a registered nurse, first on an orthopedic/surgical unit and second on a mother/baby unit. I recently began working dayshift full time in an endocrinologist office Monday through Friday. I cannot commit to any full time babysitting jobs, so I am currently looking for jobs on an as needed basis (weekends, date nights, night nurse). I started out as a mother's helper early in middle school and began babysitting in eighth grade (2009). I continued babysitting until roughly 2020 when most parents were working from home and I was working on a Covid unit in the hospital so it was best that I self isolate for others’ safety. This amounts to over 10 years of babysitting experience. I also have roughly 3.5 years experience working with newborns through my job in the nursery and on the post partum unit. I have babysat for multiple families over the years, and most families I kept up with for several years. I've worked with children ranging from 6 months to teenagers in high school. Hello parents! My name is Azia and I'm 28 years old. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist and have over 10 years of experience working with and caring for children. The age ranges I've cared for is 2 months to 14 years old. When caring for younger children, I engage them in imaginative play, teach the the basics such as sight words, colors, numbers, etc., help them with emotion regulation, take them to the park, library, etc, read to them and anything else that made them happy/ the parents would like me to do with them. When caring for older children, I take them to their extracurricular activities, assist them with homework, offer them a listening ear (if they're interested), and anything else they may need help with.
