Cara is amazing! She interviewed me as much as I interviewed her. Cara really wanted to make certain, as did I, that she would be the best fit for my son and my family. What is so special about Cara is that she truly cares - last week she brought over pictures she developed from her time with my son over Spring Break. I mean, who goes to that trouble anymore? Cara does. She is a gem and your family would be very fortunate to have Cara as your next babysitter.

I worked full-time with six different lovely family and 8 splendid children -two baby-for seven years both in San Francisco and Istanbul, Turkey. I am a university graduate. I have experienced to teach and also learn a lot from children with love, respect, happiness and adventure. I love to take care of babies and children because I had beautiful and unexplained days that I get to witness: the first smiles, the small conquests of crawling, the big smiles, the unconditional love they show in every discovery. All these were extraordinary special to me. During my experience, I also performed light housekeeping, including cooking, and laundry for family. I managed the schedules of children including picnic, walk and play on the parks. Please feel free to contact with me. I can share my references information or recommendation letter. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Have a wonderful day :) Note: I am full vaccinated and boosted

Kader cares for our 5 month old infant. She is extremely attentive when caring for our son, always playing with him and engaging him. She always has a warm, calm, and pleasant attitude and we can really tell that our son responds well to her. We feel confident that our son is happy, safe, and well cared for with Kader. Kader is also extremely professional, responds to communications in a timely manner, and has been fantastic to work with overall. We would highly recommend her.

Hi, I'm shelly. I'm 28 years old and currently a nursing student. I have some availability in my schedule and decided to get back into nannying. I've been off of Sittercity for a couple years, hence my bare profile! But I used to babysit/ nanny kids ranging from ages one and up for years. I also have references available.

I am an experienced and dependable caregiver with a lifelong passion for working with children. As a mother of four adult children, I bring both personal and professional experience to my role. I have spent over 20 years working in Faith Formation, currently serving as a Catechist and Program Coordinator, and have also worked as a Sunday school teacher and Religious Education Director. My background includes caring for children of all ages, including those with special needs. I am a former EMT-B and am certified in CPR/AED and First Aid, so safety is always a top priority. I am currently seeking a part-time babysitting position in the late afternoons, evenings, or occasional weekends. I truly enjoy supporting families and creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children.

I have been running apartment buildings for the last 30 years. Besides dealing with buildings, I have had to deal with the residents cleaning people, contractors health aides, etc.. Some of which can be less than desirable to have on property. Alice was one of those rare caretakers who I felt lucky to have caring for a 94 year old resident of the 26 unit apartment building I was working at. Other residents of the 7 story building, including our 101 and 102 year old residents, were always happy when Alice was on site. They trusted her and felt safe when she was around. They enjoyed her company and looked forward to seeing her. As I got to know Alice, I fully understood why she was so highly regarded. Integrity, honesty, and her ability to not just listen, but to hear what people where telling her. Then respond to their needs in a compassionate, caring manner. Food shopping, doctors appointments, just getting a senior out in the fresh air etc. It was obvious her presence was greatly valued by the lives she touched. I could go on and on about what a stand out caretaker she was. Sometimes though, less is actually more. Alice is quite simply exceptional. That says it all.

I am a professional nanny with many years experience with infants, young children and teens. For many years I was a stay at home mom, but now my children are getting older and independent. I have a joyful home that I share which my husband almost 30 years and my son 21 in college, and my daughter 16. I loved being home which my children and aside from my affection for them, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in health and welfare. I am a very responsible loving and conscientious caregiver. The safety of children in my care is most important and essential. I have nurtured babies, feeding, diapering, bathing and all manner of care. I have safely driven children to and from school, activities and outings.I have kept complex household schedules, prepped and cooked delicious and nutritious meals, and cleaned up. I have helped out with pets, run errands, gone grocery shopping, laundry and light house keeping. Actives I enjoy doing with children are all about being physically active outdoors, hiking on trails, exploring nature, playing in creeks and going to the beach, pool, zoo, or just playing at the playground. It’s great fun making couch forts on rainy days and baking cookies. Being creative with crafts and painting works of art for quiet time activities. I try to encourage responsibility in children by having them help clean up their toys and seeing the value in being a good helper. I discourage screens and encourage books. I love reading to children and teaching them about the world. Mostly I strive for FUN! I have a special needs child and I have spent many years in specialized therapies. I have developed a very intuitive and sensitive nature in dealing whith my child’s disability. It has been the center of our lives 24/7. I understand the patience and nuance that is required when working and striving for important developmental milestones. I have completed two parent training courses at The Yale child Study Center, New Haven.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Chrysa as our nanny. From the very beginning, she brought so much warmth, patience, and genuine care into our home. Chrysa was not only loving and attentive with our daughter, but she also made every day fun and enriching. Whether it was reading together, outdoor walks around the neighborhood, or simply the way she always listened with such kindness, our daughter absolutely adored her. Chrysa has a natural ability to connect with children, and it was so reassuring as parents to know that our daughter was in such capable, nurturing hands. She was always punctual, communicative, and thoughtful — going above and beyond in ways we’ll always be grateful for. It’s clear she puts her heart into what she does, and it made a world of difference for our family. We can’t recommend Chrysa enough — she’s truly a gem, and any family would be lucky to have her!

As one of the older siblings in a family of four, my experience caring for others started early, and it’s been at the heart of my life ever since. I’ve always been drawn to working with children. I spent two years as an elementary school teacher, where I gained real-world training in child development and classroom management. Since then, I’ve worked as a private tutor, supporting kids in both academic growth and emotional confidence. I’ve cared for children of various ages, including managing multiple kids at once, and I always strive to create a loving, compassionate, and positive environment where they feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. My CPR and First Aid certification is up to date, and I’m also a lifelong animal lover, so I’m always happy to care for pets too! I’m fluent in Spanish, which is my first language, and I enjoy bringing fun and good energy to every family I work with. I truly believe in the power of positive thinking and giving my best in everything I do. I look forward to the opportunity to meet your family and provide care you can feel confident about!
