Hi there! I'm Kat. I'm 38, originally from Ridgefield and am currently living in Norwalk after 15 years in Chicago; I moved back to take care of my Dad. I hold a Master's Degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's in Comparative Literature from Purdue. I also have a 100% clean driving record and my own car. More importantly, as a babysitter, I love reading with children, helping with homework, arts and crafts projects, walking dogs, going on impromptu field trips, nature hikes, cooking projects, all sorts of stuff! I'm definitely not one to sit around and watch tv for hours. I have had several years-long babysitting relationships with families and would love to be able to have that again. I found Kat on Sittercity for a last minute babysitting job on NYE. She was very responsive and kind in our correspondence and I was able to speak to her reference quickly as well. She was great with my kids (3.5 and 2) and even brought a fun science experiment to do that they talked about for over a week after. I was very comfortable having her watch them and she proactively texted me updates through the night, which I greatly appreciated.
