Hello, and thank you for taking the time to review my application. My name is Loriann and I have worked on and off as a nanny for the last 10 years taking care of infants, toddlers and elementary aged children. I have also raised three children of my own who are now ages 17, 19 & 21 and am extremely capable of caring for multiple children at a time. Most recently I had the privilege to be nanny to a 2 1/2 year old little boy since he was 3 weeks old. I consider myself to be a very qualified nanny, as well as fun, warm, loving and caring. At my current job my responsibilities have included the following: •Dressed and groomed child, and changed diapers. Motivated child to change clothing by himself when able. •Sterilized bottles and prepared formulas. Prepared meals and snacks for child as he got older. Organized and took part in leisure activities, games and television. •Oversaw child in outdoor activities, including riding a tricycle, playing in pool and sprinkler and walks. •Discovered signs of emotional or developmental troubles in child and communicated the same to parents •Carried out housekeeping duties for example laundry and cleaning. Washed toys and play equipment daily. •Kept daily journal of observations and information regarding activities, meals served, and medicine administered. As a nanny I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the children in my care grow and thrive and I feel that I have a lot to offer your child besides just taking care of their wants and needs. As your child’s nanny there would be singing and music, walks through the neighborhood, playing outside, arts and crafts, reading books and hugs and snuggling as needed. Also, I have a clean driving record, am a non smoker, and love most pets including large dogs. Children are a miracle and I would love the opportunity to be nanny to your child.
