Hi there, thanks for coming to my profile to learn more about me. My name is Abby and I am currently based in Philadelphia, PA. I have been privileged to have a wide range of experiences working with children. Throughout college, I volunteered twice per week at a preschool, helping to facilitate various lessons and activities with students. After college, I was employed with Teach for America as a special education teacher, working with special needs children in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. This past year, I worked in Sweden as a live-in au-pair for a family with a 9 year old and 3 year old who is on the autism spectrum. Currently, I am a graduate student at UPenn obtaining a master’s in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership. Every experience I have had working with children, I look back on fondly. Kids bring me so much joy, and I Read more hope I can help bring them joy in return. I prefer to be active when babysitting. I love to take kids outside to play, do arts and crafts, and help guide them through self-led, creative play. I adore all animals and am great with pets!
