Hello! My name is Kelsey Sobestanovich, I am 22 years old will soon move back to Connecticut in mid June 2016. I attended Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire from 2011-2015 and earned my degrees in Elementary Education and Sociology. I was very much involved in college between teaching(I have experience teaching K-6th grade and am two test scores away from obtaining my certification for elementary education), being a full time undergrad student, a tour guide, a member of the Kappa Delta Pi the education honor society, a member of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority, working an after school job, traveling abroad! During the summers and breaks I worked at a preschool and daycare with children as young as 3 months- 12 years old! I spent the last year working for City Year San Antonio in Texas at an inner city middle school as a tutor and mentor for at Read more risk youth. I worked 50+ hours a week and would spend my free time on weekends exploring the city and different coffee shops with friends! I LOVE working and caring for children. I always volunteer to babysit my little cousins whenever my family needs someone. I have babysat for a few different families in the past when my schedule allowed. I have experience working in a professional daycare as stated before as an assistant teacher and would float between classrooms so I have experience working with infants and toddlers. During my time as an undergrad student I was able to gain experience teaching Kindergarten through 6th grade students. I am looking for a full time babysitting or nanny position for this summer! I have open availability starting in July and have reliable transportation. I am a non-smoker and love pets! Ideally I would love to meet with the family and child(ren) before I accept a position. I would love to be able to take the child(ren) on fun outings such as a park, community pool, mini golf etc. I am an energetic and caring person. I adore being with children- they are simply the best and I love hearing what they have to say and watching their imaginations run wild. I would love to chat!
