I've been babysitting for five years now and have babysat for about five different families. I have been an after school nanny and summer nanny in the past, responsibilities included picking up children from school or camp, driving them to activities, preparing dinner, playing, helping with homework and light chores around the house (dishes, laundry, vacuuming). I'm responsible, hardworking, reliable and love to work with children of all ages. I've worked at a summer camp for five years (ages 5-11) and Chelsea Piers CT for four years (running birthday parties and assistant soccer coach). In college I'm apart of a mentoring program called Big Brothers Big Sisters and volunteer with America Reads. Big brothers big sisters is a weekly mentor program where you're given a "little brother" or "little sister" to help them with school work, play fun games and help them grow. With America Reads, I go to a Read more pre-school classroom once a week and help teach the children and assist in any way possible. I am hoping to find a full-time summer nannying job for this summer, I can start as early as May 3rd.
