My main job as a behavior analyst requires me to work with children aged 2-12 on the autism spectrum. I have been in this field for over 4 years and have an undergraduate degree in psychology and a masters in behavior analysis. I’m a mother of two boys hoping to help out other families while my first grader is in school. My 3 year old will be with me during the day. Beyond being a mom I have 9 years of childcare experience. I have my early childhood teacher certificate am currently CPR and First aid certified. I very recently left my job as a preschool teacher to be with my kids more. During school vacations and summer my 6 year old will be with us. We do limited screen time, trips to the library, parks, children’s museum. At home we do sensory, art, books, games, baking and outside time.

As a young teenager, I babysat my next door neighbors children. A young boy and toddling girl. I babysat for them close to 7 or 8 years. I enjoyed playing outside with them and going on long walks. They each had their favorite activities, the boy playing with train tracks, and the girl was to read books and color in her favorite coloring books. As they grew up they started to become self reliant and were into out of the home sports and activities while I wasn’t able to provide them with transportation. I don’t babysit for them anymore but still have a great relationship with the family!

I have been working with kids/teens for over 10 years! I love working with children in any capacity. I have a masters in applied psychology, am a certified school counselor, and am currently a clinician at an urgent crisis center.
