Hi! My name is Julia I am a graduate student with 5 years of childcare experience. I worked on and off for a daycare from 2019-2022 with mostly infants but also toddlers and preschoolers. There I found a love for early childhood education and development. I moved for school and had the privilege of working for a family with a 1 and a half year old for a little. In 2023 I began working with a family with a three year old and a young infant. I absolutely adored them and was with them around 25 hours a week. I was very sad to part with this family due to moving but stay updated with their boys. School drop offs, cooking, cleaning, reading together, park and museum trips and so much more. As a young teenager, I babysat my next door neighbors children. A young boy and toddling girl. I babysat for them close to 7 or 8 years. I enjoyed playing outside with them and going on long walks. They each had their favorite activities, the boy playing with train tracks, and the girl was to read books and color in her favorite coloring books. As they grew up they started to become self reliant and were into out of the home sports and activities while I wasn’t able to provide them with transportation. I don’t babysit for them anymore but still have a great relationship with the family!
