I've been babysitting my now 3 year old nephew since he was born, so I have lots of experience with younger children. I also have watched two of my younger cousins many times. One of whom is now 12 years old, and I have babysat him from a young age, to hanging out with him now at the age of 12. The other cousin I have watched is now 16 years old, and has Down's Syndrome. I have watched her in more recent years and in the past when she was much younger. So I do have some experience with watching a special needs child, albeit a little limited. I have also had dogs and various smaller pets (lizards, fish, crabs, etc) since I was a kid, and I have experience watching other people's cats and dogs. I love animals and am very comfortable with them! I am a very Read more patient person and I am willing to do what it takes to keep everyone happy, within reason. I am generally very friendly and stern only when I need to be, as I would rather take the role of a friend as opposed to a dictator.
