Thank you for considering me! My name is Kailey Davis. I’m a twenty-four year old law student. I have reliable transportation and was a lifeguard at Lake Compounce for a couple summers so I am trained in CRP and First-Aid and am highly attentive. As far as experience I have babysat unofficially my whole life. I have babysat my brother, my cousins, and basically raised one of two god-daughters I have (in my profile picture). I am very comfortable with all ages and can handle complex needs. I can follow detailed instructions and am able to think quickly in dificult situations. Officially, I have worked as a caregiver for Tots on the Spot, LLC at multiple events and independently for 3 different families in the last two years. September 2018 - April 2019 I was responsible for getting 8 year old Chin off the bus in front of his apartment, Read more getting him inside, feeding him dinner, and keeping him occupied until his mom came home. Chin was autistic and spoke Chinese only, no English. The language barrier was a challenge but I was able to connect and learn his cues which made the experience go much smoother and more enjoyable for the both of us. September 2019 - February 2020 I babysat for two different families. They both had 7 year olds who previously went to the same school. On Tuesday and Thursday’s I picked up Xavier from school and drove him home where we did his homework and had a snack. Tuesdays I would drop him off at fencing and Thursdays I would stay with him until his mom came home. Wednesdays I picked up Hunter from school and made sure he ate and changed before bringing him to soccer practice. After I would bring him home and wait for either of his parents to get home. Occasionally I would babysit both boys on the weekend at one of the family’s homes while the parents went out or ran errands. References available if you request them.
