I am going into my senior year at Boston University, studying Hispanic Language and Literature in a combined Bachelor's and Master's program. I spent January through May 2013 abroad in Madrid, Spain. I have a lot of experience tutoring Spanish and I am currently a Peer Tutor at Boston University. I have also babysat for numerous children in the past 9 years. I come from a very big family, so I've had a ton of practice caring for all of my younger cousins, as well as my younger sister. I am very creative with activities and I love to read with children.

I needed someone last minute to help me as a translator for a Spanish-speaking 13 year old girl that I was sponsoring, and Lauren stepped right in and was wonderful with her, and with me. She handled the situation beautifully and even assisted me via the phone when I needed a translation in the evenings, or stopped by for an hour to help me talk with the girl. I couldn't have asked for more. She has a lovely personality, is trustworthy, punctual and honest and I would definitely hire her again.
