At the age of 16 I started caring for a little boy (four months) after school from 3pm-9pm while his parents were both working. In that time I fed and bathed the child as well as interacted in play time with him. I did this for about two years before I became a Personal Care Assistant (PCA). As a PCA I worked at a nursing home where I bathed, dressed, fed, and assisted residents in activities of daily living. I now have my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and am working my way to becoming a nurse. My long term goal is to work in the NICU.
