I'm a 49 year old single mother of an 18-year-old high-functioning autistic son, with 30 years of childcare experience, including my son and step-daughter. I've loved caring for children as far back as when I was a child myself, my own mother having an in home daycare herself for 30 years. I've held other jobs over the years, but have always worked with children in some capacity, either in the professional setting of school, or in a nanny capacity. I studied music in college, and love sharing my gift of singing with children as well. I have directed several children's choirs. I do need to renew my CPR/First Aid, and will be doing that soon.
