I am a licensed teachers assistant for child development for the state of CT. At 10 years old I had to practically raise my brother who is 3 years younger and I realized my profession is with kids of any age group. I worked at baby cottage daycare for 2 years when I was 16. And after I graduated at 17 I worked hard to get my teachers assistant liscense for daycares or schools and now hoping to work toward to becoming a teacher one day.

I’m currently in school to become a medical assistant and In the past I used to work in a daycare with infant and toddlers. I also did babysitting as well, for family and friends and others as well. The last babysitting job I got on this site (10 years ago) has come to an end as she is a grown girl at boarding school now. I am currently looking for a part time position. I am especially good with infants and babies. I have taken CPR classes and first aid classes in the past but would take a refresher course if required. I love to read to children, I enjoy sparking the imagination and laughing with them. I also believe that kindness to each other is something we learn and that there is no such thing as too much love. I am an incoming college senior studying Speech and Language Pathology, and I am looking for jobs for the summers and winters while I am home!
