I am a downtown Baltimorean, kid lover, and lawyer taking some time off, available this holiday season and early 2023 for full weekdays in addition to weeknights and weekends. I'm an energetic, cheerful caregiver (seriously, I have resting smiling face) who's thrilled to play pretend for hours or learn everything there is to know about your kid's latest obsession. I have been babysitting since before I had a driver's license for infants 4 months+ through middle school age. In addition to usual evening sits, where I can prepare dinner, tidy up, and get kids in bed, I have extensive experience in planning full days for children while parents go to work or other daylong engagements. From crafts and songs to games to neighborhood walks, I try to keep a good balance between hands-on activities and tech. (I know kiddo wants to watch tv, but let's finish homework or perform a Read more skit first!) I'm also a longtime dogsitter on Rover and am happy to take your pup on a walk with us or complete other pet chores. I know it's been a tough year for kid illnesses. I just had COVID-19, so am comfortable caring kids in a household with a COVID scare. If someone in your household has one of the other many bugs going on, no problem, but I would likely wear a mask while sitting.
