Meet Marina

Hello! My name is Marina Bijelic and I have been teaching for over three years and working in education for the past five years. I have recently been working in Tysons Corner at a children center where I was Junior Kindergarten teacher to around twenty students. As a homeroom teacher, I was responsible for writing up a weekly lesson plan that revolves around a monthly theme: seasons, feelings, fruits, shapes, etc. I was also in charge of dressing the children, feeding them, giving medicine, helping them in the restroom and any other needs they might have had. Most of all, it was my job to look out for the students well being as well as making sure they were having fun. Although my homeroom was made up of four and five year old's, I had helped in all the centers classrooms. I am certified in MAT, CPR and First Aid Read more as of 2014. I love getting creative with kids and as an artist I learn just as much from them as they do from me. I am currently a freelance artist and I am looking to work part time in education. Art and teaching are my two passions in life and I love to share that excitement with growing generations.
