Hi there! My name is Courtney, and I am excited by the possibility of babysitting in my time outside of work. I look forward to sharing my energy and positivity with children and families with whom I develop relationships. I have a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and a BA in Psychology from Colgate University. In terms of babysitting experience, most of my experience has been with children 6+ (although I have two adorable nephews (ages 2 and 3), with whom I love to roll around). In addition to typical babysitting experiences, I served as a camp counselor at an overnight camp for children with cancer for several years. I also taught English in the Dominican Republic to children 6-10 years old for a year. I am more than happy to tutor and/or help children with homework; I am adept at multiple subjects and Read more have served as a writing consultant. I am also just as happy playing with kids and tending to other needed tasks. Unfortunately, I do not own a car, so my availability is limited to DC metro areas near public transit.
