Hello! My name is Valerie Nagel and I am a recent graduate from American University with a Musical theatre major and Special Education minor. I grew up with a parent in education which led to me helping out in classes and finding forever families to babysit and keep in touch with throughout high school and college. As an outgoing person with a skill and gift for connecting with children and people, I have gotten babysitting jobs just by starting conversations with busy moms while crossing the street and from word of mouth from some of my regular families. With organization being one of my strengths, meaningful education being one of my passions, and healthy eating being one of my goals, your kids will always have a structured day full of engaging and enriching activities with planned out, allergy friendly, meals to fuel them! I am a teaching artist at Imagination Read more stage where I create lesson plans and lead the classroom as well as assist and additionally work as inclusivity facilitator. As an inclusivity facilitator I work with children who are neurodivergent and help to make the learning environment inclusive and accessible for each student. I can't wait to create a connection with you and your children.
