Hello! I recently moved to Washington D.C. and work on Capitol Hill full-time as a Staff Assistant. Throughout my time at the University of Arkansas I worked as an assistant teacher at the Fayetteville Montessori School where a majority of my time was spent in the newborn and toddler rooms. Throughout this experience I learned how to utilize the Montessori teaching method and how to be attentive to both the importance of their schedules and needs. Additionally, during the COVID pandemic I moved back home and worked as a before and after school assistant teacher for Innovation Learning. I helped students in grades K-5th with their S.T.E.M. homework. I also worked as a substitute teacher for the Smithville School District in grades K-6th and helped keep classrooms schedules, safety, and conducted learning activities.
