I graduated from Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development with a B.S. in Deaf Studies in may of 2022 and have spent the past year as a long term substitute at a school for the Deaf in Framingham, MA. As a long term substitute I taught english classes to sophomores in high school and life skills classes for high school students with autism I grew up in the DC area and I am returning to begin a masters in social work program starting at the end of August. In addition to my time this past year as a long term substitute I have experience working as a babysitter and camp counselor to children of varying ages. I began babysitting when I was 13 and have continued to do so off and on for the past 10 years. I have had the most experience babysitting children from infancy Read more to 5 years old. I have done nap time, bedtime, dinner, lunch, and day time activities like walking to the park or the library. During my time in undergrad I was a literacy tutor for students in a Boston after school program between the ages of 5 and 10. I helped with homework and created games to help encourage a love of reading in the students.
