I am a retired school teacher with 40+ years of teaching experience in Early Childhood/ Education (Pre-school-2nd grade). At the present time, I am self-employed as a tutor and educational support service provider as well as serving as a Mentor in the local public schools.. I am a mother of six and a grandmother of five. While teaching and raising my family, I was a foster parent to over 30 children. My degrees are in Child Development/Early Childhood Education with specialized training in diversity/anti-bully from the Anti Defamation League program in Washington, DC. I am also a Child Life Specialist with work in bereavement counseling.(certified at Washington, DC National Children's Hospital and The St. Francis Center.)
