Why do I love being a sitter? I genuinely love being a sitter because working with children has always come naturally to me. I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and feel understood. I’ve grown up around younger siblings and cousins, so caring for children has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. What experience do I have? I have experience with children of all ages. I currently substitute teach across all grade levels, which has helped me understand a wide range of developmental stages and learning styles. I also used to mentor kids, giving me even more one-on-one experience supporting their emotional and academic growth. On top of that, I’ve always taken care of younger siblings and family members, which has given me years of hands-on experience in childcare. What skills and training do I Read more have? I earned a technical diploma through a Teaching Academy program and completed multiple child development classes in high school. I’m also a licensed paraprofessional and CPR/First Aid certified. My training has prepared me to handle daily routines, learning activities, and unexpected situations calmly and confidently. Overall, I bring patience, creativity, and professional childcare training to every family I work with, and I’m committed to helping kids feel safe, supported, and excited to be themselves.
