My experience with babysitting/nannying as of right now I am working with a family and taking care of their son but I started when I was in the 5th and 6th grade when my aunt was running an at-home daycare and I used to help her when I got out of school to entertain the kids and watch over them. When I got into middle school I started to watch my three cousins I still do to this day. When COVID hit and we had to do school online my cousin stayed with me and my mom for a month or two and I was responsible for helping her with her homework and waking her up on time so she could get on Zoom. I also used to help my cousin watch a family friend of hers newborn baby and their young son. Then I occasionally watch my neighbor's younger daughter when she comes over and plays on the weekend or sometimes when she gets off the bus. As of right now I do have a 6-year-old boy I watch we go outside explore, pretend play using his imagination do fun activities, craft things, and watch kid-friendly shows and movies. I believe children are the most precious thing and should be treated as such. My nieces and nephews are my world. I consider my little cousins and other kids in my life as my nieces and nephews as well. I spend as much time as I can with the children in my life which range from 3 months old to 17 yrs. old. The greatest thing is seeing a child smile and Hearing them laugh. It gives me a warm and satisfied feeling to see kids happy. I would do anything for a child. I started watching other kids when I was 6 with supervision and without supervision when I was 14. I have cared for children from newborn-12yrs., and from 1 child up to 5 children at a time. I have cared for children with a veriety of different diagnosis such as autism, adha, depression, bipolar, and oppositional defiance disorder. I am young at heart. I love playing games, drawing, arts and crafts, playing with toys, teaching, reading and so much more. I like getting outside and playing games, tag, hide and seek, snow angels, snow ball fights, water gun fights, baseball, soccar, other sports, anything we can think of to do.
