Hi I'm Alyssa! I'm currently a junior at Delaware Technical Community College, pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm passionate about working with children and creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun. I have my high school diploma, current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. I have several years of childcare experience, beginning with helping my aunt with her in-home daycare. Since then, I have cared for children ranging from infants to 11 years old. Through my Early Childhood Education program, I am doing observation hours at my college's childcare center, where I gain hands-on experience with infants and preschoolers and learn more about child development and age-appropriate learning. I enjoy planning activities that match each child's interests, includes outdoor play, board games, arts and crafts, educational activities, pretend play, and creative activities that encourage imagination.
