To begin, the job I enjoy the most is being able to take care of children. I know babysitting can be demanding, but I am committed and mature enough to care of young children. Since I was thirteen I have babysat my younger siblings and younger cousins. Sometimes even the children of Family Friends. I am now twenty year's old and I have worked my way up to taking care of children from six months year old's to thirteen year old's. I love taking care of children and do not mind at all playing small board games, making arts and crafts and going outside to get some physical activities done. I am very creative so entertaining children is not a problem at all. I also help children doing homework, checking answers and helping them read. I am bilingual. My first language is Spanish but, I speak English very fluently as Read more well. I used to tutor students of my own age and younger in the ESL (English Second Language) program. I tutored for two years. I also recently volunteered at Delaware Technical Community College- Owens Campus for the Early Childhood Building. I observed and was engaged in helping the lead teacher and staff with the Pre-school age children during the day time for three to seven hours a day per week. I would help in nap time, clean up, Art's and Craft's and snack time. I loved the time I spent with the children and would enjoy interacting with children again if I was given the opportunity. I am very great at following a schedule for children if needed. Also, doing light house work is not a problem at all. I'm here to help in whatever is needed as long as the child is safe and has the attention that is needed. And for the children's safety I am certified in CPR, AED and Basic First Aid.
