As an elementary school teacher, I have always had a love for children. My love for children dates back 18 years when my mother owned a daycare. Having been exposed to children of all ages as a young child, I knew that I would go on to walk the same path as my mom. At the age of 15 years old I began working at The Goddard School, where I worked with infants - School-aged children. Upon graduating High School, I joined the Army (8 years - 4 active, 4 reserve), then went on to finish my degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. Prior to graduating I worked as a special needs attendant, tutoring, self-help skills, one on one companionship with children and adults. I also began working with children 1-18 years old as a one on one behavioral technician, working ABA principles to children on the Autism Read more spectrum. (In both a school and in home setting). After working with so many children with different interests, needs, abilities, I have become a differentiation and tiered learning advocate. I believe in reaching each individual based solely on how they learn and receive instruction, love, and training best.
