When I was younger I babysat just to make money for the summer, but now that I’m older and have worked in several different industries, I’ve realized that I truly enjoy working with children. I’ve had experience as a babysitter and as a nanny for several families, working with up to three children at a time, working with children within the neurodivesirty spectrum, and I was also employed by a tutoring company. One of my favorite endeavors related to childcare was my job as a tutor. I worked primarily with children from pre-K to second grade teaching them reading, writing, and basic mathematics. Prior to this job, I also worked in the children’s department of my local library which is how I was initially introduced to early education. As a nanny, I enjoy having the opportunity to grow with a family and meet their needs.
