I have been working with children since my freshmen year of high school! I have volunteered with Newark Park and Recreation during the summer with their Safety Town program (ages 3-6) and their Tot Lot program. I then moved to working at the Bear-Glasgow YMCA where I work in their "Kids Zone" for the past 3 years. I an CPR/AED and first aid certified in adults, children, and infants. I am able to work with children 6 weeks up to 12 years of age. I do have a ratio to follow at work. When I am with infants I can handle up to four by myself. When I am with toddlers I can handle up to 6. And when I am with children 4 and up I am able to handle up to 10. But if I am working with an infant my ratio goes down to an infant ratio Read more so I will only handle up to 4 children at a time; to insure all children are safe and taken care of. I am looking to become a nanny rather than just a babysitter. I love children and I would like to take it on full time. I enjoy doing crafts and also going to the park. I am into music so there will be some music time were we can dance together or even make our own little band! I am also able to clean and run errands as needed!
