For the past 4 years I have been taking care of two siblings since each one were 3 month old. By their parents choice the decided to call me "Abuela" which means grandma in Spanish. I used to care for them during the week from 8:00am to 6:00pm with the following chores: • Ensured that they were safe, kept a watchful eye while they were entertaining themselves. • Made a positive relation with the children by designing creative games and activities for the children. • Prepared meals in the absence of the parents and made the children eat on time as per their daily routine. • Maintain the sleep routine for the child. • Teaching Spanish so they can fluently speak a second language . • Enjoyed being around children and helped them learn & grow.
