On Saturday, we spoke to Sidney and she made an appointment to come the next day, Sunday, at 12:30 pm. We rearranged our Sunday for Sidney, but at 12:30 she did not show up. We even texted her in advance to confirm the appointment time and location. At 12:35 Sidney texted that she was not coming and was not interested because she took a job working from home for a dog food and product vendor. We felt it was discourteous and odd that she texted us after the appointment time to let us know she was not showing up. We understand that circumstances happen in life. However, if you are going to provide child care and babysitting services, and you know that people are arranging a schedule with children, it does not seem professional or respectful to text AFTER the agreed time in this manner and say you're not showing up.
