Meet Melissa

My passions for kids started from when I was young. Im from a family of 6 kids and have lots of cousins and nephews. I've always been around kids and as I got to college I started tutoring/ mentoring young kids of all ages. In this job I helped run the after school care program and ran a summer program as well. I am very fun, creative and patient. I also am stern when I need to be to let a child know that they are doing something wrong. I prefer to teach young children by explaining to them what is wrong and what is right rather than punishing with no explanation. I love to do fun activities with kids and play with them. If they also need tutoring I would love to help with academics.
