I am an executive retired from the Federal Government. I am also a mother; my daughter is now 31 and recently completed her PhD. I have extensive babysitting experience as a teen and I have 10 nephews and 1 niece for which I babysat periodically. I also have 4 grandchildren from my husband's children. Last year I taught reading for 4th grade students at an after school program. I love children and love to read to/with them and am very confident that doing learning activities with a child enhances their abilities. I started reading to my daughter when she was a week old; by Kindergarten she was reading on a 3rd grade level. I'm a youthful 59 and love to provide children a variety of activities both indoors and outside.
