Hi! I’m Emily, a career nanny, certified postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, and lactation specialist. (aka professional baby expert.) Caring for children and supporting families has been my career and joy for 10 years and counting. I take pride in supporting families as they navigate parenthood and establish a new normal. I have many years of experience with newborns, multiples, premies, nanny shares, adoptive families, intended parents, and children 0-10 yo. I’ve worked with families of all different backgrounds, lifestyles, and family dynamics. As a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula- I work exclusively with parents during the first few weeks-months after birth by providing overnight, daytime, and 24/7 care to aid a smooth transition on their new or expanding parenting journey. Although I specialize in newborns and postpartum care, I have years of prior FT nanny experience with children of all ages. -I value supporting an infants cognitive, motor, sensory and speech development with activities like outings, play dates, the zoo, library, music classes, baby yoga, swimming lessons, age-appropriate arts, crafts, and sensory activities. -Certified in Adult and Pediatric CPR & First Aid AED. Fully vaccinated (Flu, TDap, Covid.) -I take car seat safety and safe sleep practices very seriously. -I have obtained over 300 hours of continued education & training on the following topics: Colic, Reflux & infant allergies, Perinatal Mental Health, Tongue-Tie and Infant Feeding, Baby Led Weaning, Infant Mental Health & Development, RIE, Waldorf, Montessori, Respectful Parenting, and more.
