My name is Cristen, I am 28 years old. I graduated in December of 2022 as a Psychology Major. I work with kids on the spectrum as a Registered Behavioral Therapist and have been in the position for 2 years. Prior I worked with kids in the spectrum in a self-contained ASD classroom. I enjoy studying and am planning to continue my degree to a doctorate level. Some tools that help me with littles on the spectrum include experience with non-verbal, low communication, PECS, and AAC devices. I also have experience with many behaviors and am comfortable when emotions begin to escalate. I provide a neuro-affirming approach and a calm demeanor.
