Hello everyone. My name is Angela. I have been a member of sitter city for over 15 years now. I have met some wonderful parents and children from this website. This website has really done alot for me. I am happy to have it around. It is a great way to meet new families in the area and help out families as well as fellow sitters. I have been babysitting for over 25 years, been in childcare for 8 years and a nanny for 15 years. Altogether it makes it 25+ years. I am 41 years old. Babysitting and working in childcare is something that I really enjoy doing as well as being a nanny. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and families of all sizes, but I am partial to infants and toddlers. I am a Christian and I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I like watching movies, bowling, hanging out with my close friends, being around my pets, and having fun playing games. I have 2 dogs and that I love to be around and hang out with. Also I have fostered dogs and I did pet sitting on the side. I went to Louisiana College for 3 1/2 years in Early Childhood education. I felt that God was pulling me in a different direction and here I am in Daytona recently moved from Dallas area. I moved to Daytona Beach in March of 2022 and I’m loving it. I grew up in Baton Rouge, LA. I hope to one day get a degree in Early Child Development, which is infant- Pre-K. I have been CPR and first aid certified. I am up to date on Flu and DTaP. I am a 28 year old who has been living in Daytona for the past two years, I am moving to Orlando early April and excited for a new chapter. I worked at a day care for my first year of child care. I was with one-five year olds. That is where I would meet families who wanted someone to watch their kids for date night and then two nights on the weekend and then that became me turning into their nanny of five months. I started early in the year throughout the summer, It was one of the best experiences I had ever had. I dont sit for the family anymore but I loved doing it and I am very good with kids. I have worked at an elementary and middle school as a tutor and translator. I have been a live in nanny for a single mother with two wonderful kids. In my time in Colorado I have cared for a nine month old girl and still watch her occasionally. My last family I watched was an amazing girl from five months until she turned one. The family is moving back home which led me to being in Daytona but we spent a great year together. From playing indoors and out, learning music, the alphabet, shapes, and activities for every stage. I do housework, cooking, cleaning. I love outdoor play and walks also learning and mindful activities indoors.

I’ve been babysitting since I was a teenager, long ago.I currently work full time as a registered behavioral technician with children who have autism. Babysitting’s honestly one of my favorite things to do. I like making sure kids feel comfortable, happy, and just genuinely have a good time. As a parent, I get the chaos and the routines and I know every age comes with its own quirks. Why I love being a sitter I love being a sitter because working with children is something that truly makes me happy. I enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and feel safe while their parents are away.
