Hi, my name is Shannon Brayton. I am currently a college student at Daytona State College pursuing a career in nursing. I have over four years of paid babysitting experience and have been caring for children since I was around 10 years old, which has helped me build strong skills in working with kids of different ages and personalities. I have approximately two years of experience working with children with special needs, including autism. I currently work with a 6-year-old child with autism, where I assist with after-school care and help support him with his schoolwork. This has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to provide individualized care. I am CPR and Stop the Bleed certified and have completed multiple medical and healthcare-related courses, which have prepared me to respond calmly and responsibly in a variety of situations.
