As a current high school senior, I have worked hard to maintain a 4.9 GPA while balancing my time with child care for 3 years. Being able to develop a professional image and character is very important for me to feel accomplished, which is why I have enjoyed working in such a rewarding industry at an early age. My positive attitude and eagerness to learn new things have made me adaptable to change, a quick learner, and able to take on new challenges. At the age of 15, I embarked on a journey of my first job at a summer camp. From children ages 3 to 12, I was responsible for managing about 15 kids at once. My creativity allowed me to come up with games and activities to keep the children entertained and active, so they could enjoy their summers as I enjoyed mine. Currently, I am the aftercare Read more counselor of 20 kindergarteners. It is clear that I have developed a passion for working with young children and can connect with them in a meaningful way. One of the things that stands out about my work is my ability to create a safe and supportive environment for them to learn and grow. I have a talent for building relationships with kids and helping them feel comfortable and cared for. My communication skills are also impressive. I can explain concepts and ideas in a way that children can understand, and I have learned to be patient and attentive when listening to their thoughts and feelings.
