I'm 30+ years old and have been babysitting since before I can remember. I am the second oldest of 5 kids, and the oldest daughter, so many care-taking responsibilities fell on me in my family. I've looked after my younger siblings (including when they were new born - my youngest brother was born when I was 9). In my teens I babysat often to earn extra money. I have experience with infants, multiple children (sometimes 4+). During summers I volunteered at camps for children with special needs (autism and spectrum disorders). I tutored math in college to supplement my income. Plus, I'm great with pets - I have cats and dogs all while I was growing up and have two kitties currently. I have a degree in History and sociology, and immediately after college I worked at a courthouse - so stress is something I'm quite familiar with. My husband's employment took us over there for 4 years, but now I am back in the US. I do know beginner level Japanese.
