Hi there! I'm Alexa, a film and education major at American University in Washington, DC, and I am looking for a babysitting gig while I am in my home town of Ft. Lauderdale for the holidays. I am a very energetic, outgoing, and understanding person who absolutely loves kids and I definitely know how to communicate with them on their level. I babysit regularly while I am in school ages ranging from 6 months - 15 years old. This summer I was a camp counselor/photographer at a sleep away camp in Michigan where I lived with and looked after 22 15-year-old girls for eight weeks. I also work at a winter outdoor after school program where I lead a group of 6-year-olds through the woods teaching them outdoor survival skills. I was a volunteer cheerleading coach for 4 years with girls from 6 - 12 years old. I enjoy any Read more type of outdoors activity - hiking, running, swimming, etc. I can also speak some Spanish.
