Hi, I'm from Jamaica. I have been helping to take care of kids since I was a teenager starting off with watching over my younger cousins and then my own siblings followed by more family members' children and my own boys and then recommendations to others. I grew up with a dad who always paid attention to details and safety even more so than my mom and for that reason I have found that I'm particular about ensuring the ones I take care of are safe, fed and cleaned and if they are babies I assess everything from behaviour to skin integrity to make sure all is well. I strongly believe in ensuring that I take care of children the same as I would like someone to take care of my own.
