I’ve been working with kids for quite some time now and have been told that I am very good at my job . The biggest reason being is I am a natural nurturer . I’ve learned that the biggest thing kids need is consistency and someone willing to learn how they choose to communicate and meet them half way. Being the oldest I’ve always had to be the responsible one and look after my younger brothers. Over the years I have worked in aftercare programs , elementary school settings (intensive/and gen ed ) and childcare facilities for children with special needs . All of my experience has kept me energetic, engaged , and a “mother” figure to all the children I have worked with.
