Hello, My name is Wren Omson, I am a student at USF majoring in Health science and psychology, which I have taken many courses on child development. My interest with them was when I did a project on their cognitive behavior and presented it to my class. But most of my experience comes from my passion to work and care for children that has grown over my adult years. Since my aunt was a preschool teacher she shared her love for her career with me daily. So I chose to start babysitting as my very first job my neighbors’ children at the age of 15, I was babysitting within 3 different homes during the week, weekends and over night. These children's ages ranged from 4-12 years old, and I would babysit 1-3 at a time. During this time I was attending a youth group where I would care for the Read more young ones after mass. I also volunteered at a day care center by helping during snack time, play time and nap time. In my high school years, all four years I cared for the special needs children/teens with homework, eating or any personal needs when assigned too. We did activities off campus or away from the home so I am reliable, confident and secure being away from adult supervision. I follow directions very well; I m always-on time and I follow through with any request given. So from all my past history you will notice that I have a lot of experience and Im able to multitask and complete tasks efficiently. I can also help with any homework and cook daily, take them to any sports or after school activities they might have. I know I will be able to fulfill this position to its best ability.
