I started off as a 14 year old high schooler watching my 3 month old cousin. It turned out that I really loved babysitting because you can provide extra play time when parents are busy providing. I have a certificate in CPR thanks to my high school. I have a certificate in Child Development and I’m in the process of completing my CNA. I babysit from anywhere between new borns to 14 year olds. I’m a tutor of all subjects. I loved helping with science projects and math homework etc. I was a Boys and Girls Club staff members where we would present activities for children who had parents working day time jobs. Activities such as writting,basketball,volleyball, typing, talent shows etc. When I babysit I make sure I ask what are the activities allowed, the foods allowed when not mentioned, the routine of the day or even what are the Read more child’s hobbies preferred. I’ve worked at a Daycare as a book reader, lunch server and a watch over when playing outside. I am now finishing my Military contract, I joined when I was 17. I’ve Culinarily and Medical in the Military. I’ve also learned defensive skills, self building skills, value of human environments which are some of the skills that have helped me when I’m babysitting. For example I babysat a 10 year old and she was being bullied and I’ taught her the 6 steps of Self Building. She is no longer afraid to wear what she wants and express her style, she is also informing her parents on how to creat Self building for themselves. I love to babysit because it allows me to be apart of watching them grow and expand.
