Hello! My name is Evelyn, and I’m a college student with a true passion for working with children and individuals with special needs. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I provide support to individuals with special needs and help them develop important communication, social, behavioral, and everyday living skills. Through my work, I’ve learned the importance of patience, understanding, consistency, and meeting each individual where they are. I truly enjoy building meaningful connections, encouraging independence, and creating a positive and supportive environment. I also have a year of experience working as a preschool/VPK teacher, where I discovered how much I love helping children learn, grow, and build confidence. My classroom experience taught me how to create fun and engaging activities while supporting children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs.
