I am currently a PhD student at UF and working towards a career in medicine as a physician, and I am currently a mentor to undergraduate students in a laboratory. While I have not been paid as a nanny or babysitter, much of my experiences has been unpaid or volunteer work. In the past, I worked as a caregiver for elderly patients with dementia including my grandmother, and I currently work as a hospice volunteer for a special needs young adult who is developmentally delayed. I have worked throughout my middle and high school years in church functions with children of all ages, and I have worked as a tutor for two years for middle and high school students in the last four years. I have experience with young family members in babysitting as well.
